This extra large split agate druzy nodule is truly stunning! Weighing close to 20 pounds, this beautiful Brazilian split agate nodule is the ultimate statement piece for your bookshelf or mantel.
Agate is a rock formation consisting primarily of chalcedony and quartz. Agate is typically formed from layers of silica which are deposited in volcanic vesicles or cavities. The layers are formed in stages which provide the hallmark alternating color bands. This piece has been carefully split in half to reveal an exquisite amethyst druzy center.
Halves can be displayed flat or on stands. Metal Stands included.
