Vibrant Purple Agate Coaster Set

Set of 4 purple agate coasters with natural edge.  

Agate is a rock formation consisting primarily of chalcedony and quartz.  Agate is typically formed from layers of silica which are deposited in volcanic vesicles or cavities.  The layers are formed in stages which provide the hallmark alternating color bands. 

As this is a natural stone product, variations in texture, color and pattern are normal.  Each coaster has been cut from a different stone, so each set contains coasters with varying size and shape.  Coasters have rubber feet on the underside to protect surfaces from scratches.
